Last Night I Cried

I cried for a second, a minute, an hour,

I cried, til the salt of my tears turned sour.

I cried with the grief of a mourning lover,

I cried like b I’d sold my soul to another.

So I vow from today to cry no more,

My tears will dry before they fall.

I’m stronger now than I was back then,

And in time my heavy heart will mend.
